Going Extreme on Water
Another form of recreation activity that you can do within water is surfing, and there shouldn’t be any place better than Tamarindo Bay in Costa Rica, just a little bit south of the US. In is exactly located in Central America, which is of course, well known for its killer beaches. Tamarindo is a very long beach, with tremendous waves near the mouth of the estuary. The waves are extra strong when the waters start to fall, which is the best time to surf for all the pro and non-pro surfers.
There are two main breaks for the pros, which are the Pico Pequeño, which is a rocky point near the Hotel Tamarindo Diria, and the El Estero, which is an excellent river mouth break. For beginners, all other break waters are perfect if you are just trying to learn how to get your balance on the surfboards. Truly, it is a majestic place and something for everyone to enjoy.
Kayaking with Dragons
From skiing on ice, let’s get in to the waters and talk about kayaking. There are just tons of kayaking locations in the Far East Asia that you can enjoy. One of the best spots is the Komodo Island in Indonesia. The waters are really great and you can surely enjoy it, especially if you are an experienced kayaker.
Not only that, the island is a certified tropical paradise that can easily get you mesmerized with the sights and sceneries that it can provide, not to mention that it is also the home of the famous komodo dragon, which is of course the largest type of living lizards that we have in this time. It is certainly a place for the whole family because if you are the only one who loves kayaking, you can still bring your kids and your partner to enjoy the nature that Komodo Island can provide.
